Time goes by so slowly...

I'm so flippin' excited for our trip to Disney World.  STILL.  I'm like a kid.  He keeps telling me how cute I am.  I can't help it.  It's the "happiest place on Earth!" To pass the time I started making wallpapers for mine and my daughter's phone.  Now they're all cute and ready for Disney, too. ;)

I know that the night before we fly I'll be up all night like a kid on Christmas.  I'm sure that my kids will be the same way.  Maybe we'll sleep on the plane.  Highly unlikely, but maybe.

I've googled and searched Pinterest for all kinds of tips and tricks and what to expect while we're there.  Even though the bf and his parents are Disney Pros, I like to know what I'm in for.  Especially since we're doing all the parks.  And since it's been so long since I was there.  8 years to be exact.  My daughter surprised me when she started talking about all things she remembered doing.  She was only 5 when we went last.  This gives me hope that my youngest will be able to hold onto his memories for awhile.  He is older than she was last time.  What's funny is that my middle is acting all aloof right now.  But I'm sure he's gonna forget to be "cool" the minute we step off that plane.  Especially when we do the Star Tours ride.  He can't help but geek out when it comes to Star Wars.

I'll end this by posting some of the wallpapers I made.  If you like feel free to ask, I can def customize to your liking. :)

Have a great day!

Guys!

We are going to Disney World!

I have never been more excited in my life.  I cried when I found out, I cried when I told my mom (because she cried, too), and I have been walking around the house with a perma-smile strapped to my face.  To say the kids will have had an awesome summer is an understatement.  The last time we went to Disney, Izzie was 5 and Caleb was 2.  I'm so glad that Jack gets to experience it now.  And everyone is old enough to remember.  The best part is that we're going with the BF's parents.

We are going for a full week and we get to experience all of the parks.  This is a first for me.  I've been twice before, but I'm going with real Disney fanatics lol.  And to go with people who don't stop for smoke breaks every 5 minutes will be a HUGE plus...but I digress.  My BF is planning everything and dinner reservations have already been made.  I'm so excited to try all the different cuisines.

The look on my boys' faces when we told them was priceless.  Then I had to FaceTime Izzie because she's not here.  She was in shock, too.  I could go on and on, but I'll just stop here.  August can't come fast enough!

To Blog or Not To Blog...

I've been MIA.  Again.  I'm lacking motivation.  For school, mostly.  I know I'm almost done, but I just can't seem to find the light at the end of that tunnel.  It's really frustrating.

I haven't even had the motivation to create anything.  I made myself a Fourth of July wallpaper, only because I wanted it to match my new case.

And, as a result, I closed my ETSY shop temporarily.  Knitted items are not that in demand right now.  Who knew?!  You can go to my shop's Facebook page to continue to purchase through Paypal: Becca Itzel Designs.  When I have time and when it gets cooler (ha), I will reopen.  I am actually taking a Computer Science class right now and am learning how to build my own website, so hopefully I can create my own shop site that's all my own.  I'm actually kind of excited about this.

Since I'm considering blogging again I will add some personal stuff here as well.

I joined a group on Facebook to help motivate me to be healthier.  I love it.  With the exception of my best friend, the other women are strangers.  They're awesome.  We all have a common goal and it's to be happy in our own skin.  It's wonderful.  I see a difference in myself I haven't seen in awhile.  I am 3 lbs away from my goal weight and my BMI and Body Fat % are in the healthy range.  I've never been a super healthy person, overall.  I walk every day on campus between classes.  And Texas State is not a small campus to walk!  Add me on Fitbit if you're interested: Becky.

The kids are great.  The boys started the summer off with a bang.  They got to go with my dad to NYC.  We have family in the Bronx and they loved every minute of it.  Jackson got along so well with everyone and Caleb got to soak up culture and history.  I hope to take him to DC one of these years.  Izzie is spending time with her father and but will be home within the next week.  I'm glad she is able to feel comfortable here and with her dad's family.

The boyfriend and I are doing well.  We got to have a couple weekends alone while the kids were on vacation.  I really enjoyed the time we got to spend together.  It's rare.  Houston was especially fun because I got to hang out with a couple I went to school with AND see my childhood best friend.  I can't wait to go back. :)

Any way, there's the update on my life.  Hope you're all well.

Desktop Wallpapers

I thought this was a cute idea.
My desktop is now organized & I can easily find the folders I need quickly.  Much better than searching 'Finder' lol.
If you're interested in something similar to this let me know! Thinking of charging $5 for custom desktops. The more intricate the work, the higher the price. But only slightly.

Let me know what you think!

Been a long time..

Hey y'all!
I haven't posted in forever.  Life happens some times.  Like pulling all nighters (or half nighters) for finals, kids involved in multiple things, one kid turning 13 (gasp!), oh..and my house flooding (boo!). But I'm back and am excited to be adding new things to the shop and here.  Here are a few freebies for y'all.

Pineapples..because I'm obsessed.

I'm working with new techniques and I love the way this one turned out. Hope you do, too!

Enjoy!

I just got done creating wallpapers for all the Major League Baseball teams.  I love the way they all turned out.  Hope you all do, too.  I'm putting them all in one folder. $1.50 to access them all.
Enjoy!
